These wall panels are designed to be modular and lock together in different
combinations. They come in two different grill style background patterns
and have the same detail colour and tone as the rest of the pack.
The idea behind these tiles is that mappers can cut out the
metal beams, etc, from these textures. Hopefully by doing this more depth or detail can be added to a wall/surface. Too
often you will see a flat undetailed wall in a level when with a little bit
of extra effort the corridor or room can be broken down into a more complex brush arrangement.
The first texture below should be very familiar to all Q3 mappers and works exactly
the same way as the gothic version does. I have not done any detail version because
it is more fun to create the detail with brushes instead.

These textures are designed to wrap around certain sized brushes, generally half the size
of the ones above. They are NOT designed to be spread across large flat brushes, but
rather to wrap around a column or support beam.
The last "half" texture below, works well as a joint brush for the above textures. It nicely
covers up the 2 single metal bars and give the wall a basic level of detail.
At the bottom of the page is some sample editor images of column designs using the half
textures below. If you combine these textures with additional detail brushes you can
easily turn a standard support column into something more interesting.
