This is the general workhorse floor pattern. Seamless in all directions with a very average detail
level so that it can be tiled over large distances without looking too repetitive. The texture would probably work
better when setup as a metal surface, so that metal footsteps can be heard while moving across it.
I have created 4 colour tone variants to give you a little bit more flexibility.

Style 2 : Rock / Metal grid
|
|
|
 |
| |
|
|
This floor pattern is a little bit more restrictive because it works on fixed sized grids.
The textures can be broken down and chopped up into smaller sections but certainly not as freeform as style 1.
They come in 3 different square/rectangle patterns and 1 triangular pattern. All patterns are available
in two different colour tones of grey and brown stone/metal background. The overall appearance of
the texture is worn and very dirty.
This pattern would work well as a floor of a cave or an underground installation because of the dirt/stone feel
to the texture. The detail level is very high across this texture especially from left to right and would
look bad tiled across large areas. Hopefully this will encourage mappers to make more uneven or
detailed floor designs.

Style 3 : Grill / Metal grid
|
|
|
 |

|

Finally, this style is for the total metal freaks who believe that metal is the only material that exists.
It is based on the same pattern as style 2, but using a metal grill background instead of stone.
The textures suffer from the same restrictions as style 2 with regards to how they can be cut up.
The textures come in 3 different square/rectangle patterns and 1 triangle pattern. All patterns are available
in two different metal grill variants of grey and rusty brown. The textures look very clean
compared to style 2 and only have minor wear and tear on the surface.
The detail level across this set of textures is fairly low with a faint rust stain going from left to right.
You could certainly extend these textures across larger distances, but they are not as flexible as style 1.

The jump pads come in 2 different styles. The first one is more traditional in shape and style
with the familiar shader effect that every man and his dog will recognise. The next style is something
slightly different, no curves, just hard angles.
The standard jump pad is setup with floor style 1 and covers all 4 colour tones available with the style.
The shader is fairly standard and just adds a cloud/electric swirl effect. Please remember to check all
textures used in the shader before including this in your map file. I have seen on a couple of occasions
that some of the additional textures used have not been included and the jump pad shader is broken.
The second jump pad style is really designed to be cut up and made into a
3D Object. The link will show you some editor views of how I designed
the texture to be cut up. Obviously you don't have to follow this pattern if you don't want to, but
it would be a shame as this is what is was designed for.
The new jump pad design is available for floor styles 2 and 3 in 2 different colour tones for an added
bit of megabyte to the download. The shader effect is the standard jump pad colour ring but, it goes back and forth
from the centre to the outside of the texture like a landing pad effect. I think it looks damn nice
and adds a little bit of sparkle to the jump pad design.

Originally these textures started out as grill patterns for small ledges and staircases but I found
that they worked well on most brush surface types. (Walls/Ceilings/Floors etc)
The thing I like most about these grates is that they are very easy to cut up and
arrange into different shapes and styles.
If you do use the smaller grill texture for staircases remember to randomise the
horzontial offset, so the texture does not look crap while walking up the stairs. The grates
have very high detail patterns going from left to right and will be highlighted if
used across large brush areas or big staircase designs.
