Tutorial 4 Level 2 is all about the outside edge of the grid.
The Vacuum special tile is very good at cleaning up the grid of coloured tiles
but it is sometimes worthwhile using the coloured tiles beforehand.
This level also highlights that not all special tiles have to be used in order to complete
a puzzle, only the coloured tiles need to be used.
|
|
Tutorial 4 Level 3 is more frustrating than hard. The Vacuum special tiles
need the exploder special tiles to be safe to use, otherwise the puzzles ends
very quickly
I really wanted to replace this level because it does not feel hard enough to be
the third part of the Vacuum tutorial. Still searching for its replacement...

Tutorial 5 Level 1 is very deceptive but shows off the limited
Vacuum Arc special tiles very well.
The trick is that high coloured tiles either need a lot of tiles
or other high colours around them. This can be difficult with
a lot of Vacuum Arc special tiles around.
|
|
Tutorial 5 Level 2 is fairly straight forward and linear. The
double Vacuum special tiles is where the player has
to end, not much chance of escape.
Even thou the puzzle is symmetrical the front and back part of
the puzzle are different. The mirroring simply gives the player
a choice at the beginning, nothing else.

Tutorial 5 Level 3 is a great fun level to play because it involves
so much of the grid and a wide selection of different special tiles.
My favourite bit is the Vacuum Special Tiles stuck at the end of the
T and how its impossible to get them the direct route. Lots of tile flippin
and a crazy long journey!

|
Tutorial 6 Level 1 is the introduction of the Push Special Tile. Finally
the player does not need to connect every tile but hop and skip around.
Even thou the Push special tiles are directing the flow of the puzzle
upwards the player has to find a way back down the grid twice before the end.

Tutorial 6 Level 2 is more hop, skip fun themed after one of my all time
favourite science fiction movies, The Forbidden Planet.
With the ability to hop around high coloured tiles can be used as destination points
for Push special tiles. The sequential colour balance between adjacent
tiles does not need to exist anymore.
|
|
Tutorial 6 Level 3 started out in the shape of a man but fell foul of tentacles!
The title still seems wrong but its an apt description of all the different limbs.
My favourite part of this level is the top left / right with the Push and
Arc Exploder special tiles perfectly grouped together. The route around the
grid has a very good flow with lots of turning and jumping.

Tutorial 7 Level 1 introduces the last special tile called the Switch.
The final layer to the cake is in place and this special tile only works
with other special tiles.
This level teaches the player that the Push special tile can be switched around
to face up to 4 different directions. The state of the Push special tile is
reflected by the icon colour of either red or green.
|
|
Tutorial 7 Level 2 shows how the Switch special tile can work
with other special tiles that have the ability to rotate.
This level teaches the player about the rotation function
of the Switch special tile and how it works with other
special tiles.
